E1COG was born out of a tent meeting in 1910 with a few believers and established as a church in 1943. Today, E1COG continues to be a church who strives to impact our community for God.



OUR VISION

At E1COG we strive to bring the Gospel to those around us, strengthen families and to help make disciples who make disciples. 

OUR BELIEFS

We believe that we enter into the life of the church, not by joining a denomination or a human organization, but by committing our lives to Jesus Christ. We believe God calls all Christians to live in unity and peace.


We are a non-denominational church affiliated with a movement of churches called the Church of God (Anderson, IN).

1. The Lordship of Jesus Christ: He is the vine & we are the branches. Apart from Him, there is no good thing.

2. The Authority of Scripture: The Bible is the inerrant Word of God which guides and directs everything we do.

3. The Power of the Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit equips believers to carry out the work of Christ in the world.

4. The Great Commission: Each believer is called to make disciples. 


Our Team

  • AARON HOLMAN, LEAD PASTOR | AARON@E1COG.COM

             Aaron joined the E1COG staff as Senior Pastor in July 2020. Aaron has a Bachelor’s in Theology from Cornerstone College of Virginia and a Master of Ministry degree from Warner University in Florida. Before coming to Eaton, Aaron served as the Senior Pastor of Common Ground church in Thayer, Missouri.

             Aaron enjoys lifting weights, music, random bits of trivia, and memorizing scripture. He and his wife, Sara, have three kids: Kristine, Mitchell, and Fin.

  • MATTHEW DUFFIE, Pastor of worship arts | MATTHEW@E1COG.COM

             Matthew and his wife, Roseanna, met here in 2006 in Barb Brewer's Sunday School class. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business and Christian Ministries from Anderson University. He has served in Worship Leadership in churches in Ohio, Indiana, and North Carolina as well as having been invited as a guest Worship Leader and Clinician for Camp Meetings and other events in OH, IN, IL, NC, and SC both within the Church of God and Ecumenically. Matthew also is an Associate Conductor for the Eaton Area Community Chorus, and has assisted with the Eaton High School Band, Choir, and Musical Theater department.

             Matthew works Full-Time for Preble County as a Driver Examiner. He is a BIG nerd and loves to read fantasy novels and watch sci-fi. He also loves Mexican & Asian foods, gardening & canning, the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Matthew and Roseanna have 2 rotten children, Emma and Luke.


  • ALLIE LITTLE, PASTOR OF YOUTH AND CONNECTION | YOUTH@e1cog.com

             Allie joined staff as the Youth and Connection Pastor in June 2026 after serving two years as the Youth Intern. She oversees all Youth related activities and plans points of connection and fellowship within the church. Her favorite part of ministry is walking alongside the students on their faith journeys to become more Christlike, and also listening to their funny stories. 

             In her spare time, you can find Allie at any thrift store with a coffee, playing with her nephew Judah, or cuddling with her dog, Rosie.

  • Karen Bryant, Office Administrator | karen@E1COG.COM

             Karen joined the staff in 1990. She is responsible for making sure the church office runs smoothly and assisting the staff.

             Karen and her husband Jerry, have one daughter, Hannah (married to Matthew) and one son, Jordan (married to Shelby) and seven beautiful grandchildren. Some of her favorite things to do include being outside, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
