Worship Arts Ministry

Worship is a conversation, God's revelation of Himself and our response in adoration and praise.

The Worship Arts Ministry's goal is to facilitate that conversation, to create opportunities for that encounter.

There are many ways to get involved in worship arts at E1COG! If you are interested in getting plugged in and using your talents, fill out the interest form under "Next Steps".

"SING TO THE LORD, ALL THE EARTH; PROCLAIM HIS SALVATION DAY AFTER DAY.
DECLARE HIS GLORY AMONG THE NATIONS, HIS MARVELOUS DEEDS AMONG ALL PEOPLES."
1 CHRONICLES 16:23-24

WORSHIP CHOIR:

Worship Choir meets on Wednesdays 7:00-8:15 PM in the sanctuary. Those who are part of worship choir participate in the Christmas Celebration, leading worship as scheduled in AM Worship Gatherings, and other special events throughout the year. The prerequisite to join is a heart of service, the willingness to sing in a group, and consistent church attendance. No previous choral experience is required.

WORSHIP BAND:

Our Worship Band consists of vocalists and instrumentalists whose desire is to participate in the life changing ministry of worship. They understand their calling to lead and set an example for others to respond to God. This team includes instruments like piano, acoustic and electric guitar, drums, bass, etc. Instrumentalists who have an interest in using their talent can set up an informal interview.

SOUND & MEDIA TEAM:

Our worship gatherings rely heavily on live sound and media equipment. Tech team members should have a teachable spirit and be willing to do their part to help paint the overall picture of our worship gatherings. They also have a passion and skill for working with computers and technical equipment. The prerequisite to join is a heart of service, the willingness to work together to accomplish greater things, and consistent church attendance.

DRAMA TEAM:

Dramatic sketches and scenes continue to be a great way to creatively communicate a message and help to further emphasize and convey themes. Drama Teams meet as scheduled, serving throughout the year including the Christmas Celebration. Members may also be asked throughout the year to help with dramatic readings such as scripture or poetry.

OTHER ARTS:

We strive to reflect the creativity of our Creator and are always looking for dynamic and fresh ways to lead our congregation in worship and convey the Gospel. If you have other creative gifts like visual art or graphic design, video production, or dance, let's talk and see how we can use your gifts in worship!
